Clapton break in?

I bought some pretty pre made flat claptons that come out to 0.45 Ohms. I tried them in my serpent mini and Haze dripper tank. Have only been running them for a short while and they produce a nice dense vape but the flavor is not as good as a standard round wire 21 or 24 gauge build at the same Ohms. I got the coils glowing perfect from the center out, pulsing several times.

Is there a break in period before the flavor comes on?

I usually run 50/50 in my single coil rigs, 26-32 watts.

50/50 is very thin juice ratio, claptons will burn that shit/jooze very fast, and that's why you don't taste the same.... try a higher VG jooze...
I'm telling you this based on my personal experience... I use regular nichrome or ss with my
50/50 or 60/40pg juices...

It's not a hot vape though. The flavor is just muted. Oh well, round wire going back in. Will try the claptons in a dual coild rda with a mech for high VG.

Try ramping ur wattage...adjust to ur liking

Little better at 36+ W, but why bother when I can get better flavor with 21g round wire at 28W. Am shoving a pair of the flat claptons into the Velocity as we speak.
