Clapton coils

So i made a clapton coil using 26g and 32g, gave 8 wraps on a 2.5mm screw driver and it came to 0.9 ohms. My question is what is the wattage i need to fire the coil properly. Im firing it at 34 watts which comes to 5.74 volts on a iPV 4S. Is it ok or do i need to down the voltage a bit?

sounds pretty hot my friend...generally people that want to vape at higher wattage build down to lower resistances ...personally I like my vapes around 4 volts maximum which with a .9 coil would around 18 or so watts...play around with this calculator to get the idea http://www.steam-engine.org/ohm.asp - I also have the same mod and if you want to push it to it's 120 watt threshold (or 150 I never use it much more than 90 anyway) (not that that is necessary) then you are going to have to build much lower or else you are going to have a pretty hot vape.

It's all a matter of preference, but above 4 volts, no matter the resistance, generally means a warm to hot vape IMO. If you have massive airflow you can crank it up to wherever you like it so long as you don't get burnt hits. Vape on.

I am using the troll RDA. The airflows are ok. I can take it upto 50w without a problem. And about steam engine. It doesn't specify anything about clapton coils :\ after making the clapton how will i know how many wraps to give on how many millimeters :\
