Clones???

I know that 99% of clones come from China...
I'm also aware that some mods have a couple of different clones...

The question is...
Which companies make the best clones? And which ones should I stay away from?

I currently have a Hades clone from Tobecco, and I'm not completely impressed. I'm looking to upgrade to a Kingpin. Which cloned version of it, should I be looking for?

Tobecco usually makes good clones but I hear that their quality has been a little degraded as of late.. I usually stick with Infinite of EHpro - both make great products.. Infinite makes the CLT RDA and its one of my favorites right now

I find most clones from China to be almost as good, if not just plain identical, to their authentic counterparts, whether they come from well-known Chinese clone shops or obscure names.

But there's one thing I've noticed: I like Chinese clones, but I like original Chinese designs even better. Smok and Innokin come to mind for innovative stuff that they've designed themselves. I've probably left those two more money than all other manufacturers combined.

I haven't tried Joylifee but I looked at their website and their mods look life...well mods. Here is the thing about clones....they're copies of a design. They have to spend zero R&D'ing a product and that helps keep the cost down...that also said, their QC can be hit and miss...back in the vaping day, (which was like last wed, but I am talking like way way back 9-12 months ago,) there were the three big name cloners and a small handful of no namers. Tobecco was considered the lesser clone company of the big three and was cheaper as well. If you wanted a "good" clone you'd go to someone like Hcigar or EHpro. Fasttech always had the cheapest prices on clones but you never knew who was making it so one would be awesome and another could be crap....but it's not that simple anymore....tobecco stepped up their game and started making way better stuff in the last year. In my opinion, EHpro is slipping and the worst piece of garbage clone I ever got was a TOBH clone from them. Plus there are way more clone makers than there used to be. Companies like Infinite have stepped onto the market and make great stuff, the best clone atty I've gotten IMHO is their Magma clone but I have several others. Hcigar has always been good, not the best, but good stuff...their copper nemesis is the best nemesis clone out of the three nemi clones I've had. I hated my Flash-E-Vapor V2 clone from Tobecco but thought their Black Kayfun Lite Plus clone blew away my Hcigar Kayfun 3.1 clone. My Tobecco Black Kayfun Lite clone works just as good if not better than my Artemis "Kayfun Black edition in black" clone and was cheaper...you get what I am getting at.

When it comes to clones you want to read the reviews and go with who's making what you want better, not the biggest name of the moment usually. I am sure someone will chime in about Joylifee given enough time but even with clones you get what you pay for sometime...if you have the patience to wait for FT and something has a good review there then it is more than likely worth the wait. The market has become big enough that if you take a little time to dig you can usually get a mod that will make you happy for a price that will too.
