you can use Ti on this as well..just have to fire at a lower temp as compared to Ni.

Really? I was told and researched that it wasn't Ti capable. I know for a fact it's not upgradable. My bud got me hooked on that ipv

It doesn't have a Ti mode, but you can do a manual adjust in Ni mode and still use Ti. I am not sure what the actual conversion is, but I think it is somewhere around 90-100 degrees lower for Ti wire ... then TC functions as expected ... At least that's what I've read, haven't tried it myself, but lots of folks are reporting it works really well.

any device which does TC can do Ni and Ti and even some SS wires..just that the Sig 150 doesn't have a preset for Ti or SS.

So which do you think is better The Sig or ipv. The fact he upgraded his from 165 to 200w is the first thing that caught my attention. Even if I was to just straight by an ipv I don't have the need for 2 mods.

Really it comes down to what works best for you. If you want the ability to update your mod, or just set Ti mode, etc. then that should be part of your decision. Most mods in that class all work about the same, and it really is personal preference on what feels better in your hand and what features are important to you.

As for owning 2 mods, I would suggest that everyone should own at least 2 mods, so that you have one as a backup. They don't have to be identical though, just capable of meeting your needs in case something goes wrong with your primary mod. Things happen, mods get dropped, wet, smashed, or just plain quit working. If you vape to keep from smoking, this could be catastrophic. I have had far too many mods fail, and thankfully I've been able to get through with a backup.
