Clouds, batteries, builds

Hey guys so im still pretty new to vaping but I want bigger clouds my builds are good, believe me they have good resistance nice coils but they just dont hit good the coils seem to heat up kid of slow and my batterys get super hot sometimes, mostly on the .30-.09 ohm builds my battery is a Samsung probably a fake it has 6a 3.7 volt 2500mah also my batterys drain fast and but I have been looking and found a sony battery with 3000mah 3.6volt and 30a is that going to help me hit harder? im pretty sure its my battery. Can you guys tell me whats up?

what are you using a mech mod? Because you need to have a good understanding off batterie safety / ohms law!! Especially with sub ohm not to mention super sub ohm. .09 is super sub ohm. I would only fire that on a regulated device but that’s just my 2 cents. On a freshly charged batterie @ .3 ohms ur pulling 14 amps @ .09 ohms ur pulling 46 amps !! way to much for a single cell 18650. Imho .. Good batteries are key to low ohm builds. I personally use regulated devices as an extra level of security especially on low ohm builds.! If the batteries are getting hot and you keep stressing them by running super low ohms you are putting your self and you batteries in danger!

And samsung dose not make a 6 amp cell that I know off that is good for vaping at least. INR18650-20R 2000 mAh is a 20 amp. I use Samsung INR18650-25R 2500 mAh which is a 25 amp safety limit. In a single cell mod the lowest you could safely build with a 25 R is .15 ish.! And even at that not worth it in my opinion you stress the batterie so it has a shorter life span and it last just a couple off toots before the voltage drops way off. ie Batterie life sucks lol.

Yes I am using mech mod, but its not regulated. I checked out what you said about super sub ohm what battery would be good for super sub?most of my builds are .50-.15 ohm whats a good battery for those too?

A mech mod is a mechanical mod. Battery switch and a atomizer no electronics. No "safety net" for builds. A regulated device is one with a computer chip that regulates the voltage / vape. Inherently safer if you try a fire a low ohm build it will say Check atomizer resistance. or some thing to that nature. Just a nice safety feature to have. Use a ohms law calculator to determine if your builds are safe. http://www.ohmslawcalculator.com/ohms-law-calculator

The sony vtc 4 is commonly rated as a 30 amp cell. So according to ohms law 4.2 v @ 30 amps is .14 ohms or 126 watts. We use 4.2 volts because that is the full charge the cell can hold. Fresh of the charger. So any thing over .14 ohms should be fine. Whereas I think you will find your batterie life sucks.
That's why a lot of Vapers use dual batteries in series. Or a regulated device with two 18650 batteries or a lipo.
