Clueless

Hi guys.

Can anyone help me?

I am... what you may call a... budget vaper.

I am mixing my own juice and recently bought 4 concentrates. Toasted Marshmallow, Rasberry, Vanilla Cupcake and Butterscotch. All TFA.

Are there any recipes i can use for only the above concentrates? that is until i can buy more concentrates.

You'll get better responses in the DIY recipe section maybe a moderator can move it. There's not much to go on with what you have for flavors The best thing is to find a recipe you may like and get the flavors for it.
That said the Marshmallow, Cupcake and Raspberry should pair well and the Marshmallow and butterscotch also should pair well. As far as percentages go I can't help as the only one I use is the Cupcake at around 2-3% in most mixes and I hate TFA's Raspberry even at 0.5%.

I'm in the same boat as you. I got about eight flavors that I mixed by themselves. Now I'm waiting on some that I can hopefully blend. I don't know what percentages to do or anything. I ordered-

Ripe Strawberry-TFA
Graham Crust-TFA
Pecan-TFA
Maple Syrup-TFA
Custard-FA
Vanilla Bean Ice Cream-Cap
Vanilla Whipped Cream-Cap
Pancake-TFA
Zeppola-FA

Hopefully I can blend some of them shits. I'm thinking some maple-pecan ice cream for starters.

Wow! You've got quite a few concentrates to play with. I wish you all the best though. What concentrates would you categorize under must have? Hehe

I dont know yet lol. I've been digging the doughnut flavors that are out there. I read the best one for DIY is FA Zeppola. So I'm going to try it out plain, w custard, and maybe some strawberry. I dunno, I could put a dash of maple, or cream...should be fun when I get them. They're supposed to come tomorrow.

Hey there - while no DIY genius, my best advice is to find two or three recipes that are tried and true that sound good to you, then buy all of the flavors needed, exactly as called for in the recipe.

That means buying the brand name called for, this is very important. They are not all the same.

While buying this and that flavoring that you like eating is great for experimenting, it gets expensive and frustrating when you first start out when it turns our some of the flavors are not actually compatible when mixed.

You can tell when a recipe is probably pretty good and success with it very likely when a lot of others have made it and the thread stays alive.

Some recipe threads in the DIY section here are a couple of years old and folks are still posting about them :)

Good luck!

Kingboomer just put up a doughnut recipe you could work off of. You have two of the three main flavors maybe you could sub the FA Vienna cream with some Cap Whipped Cream.... and Maple or Strawberry.

I'm thinking some maple-pecan ice cream for starters.

1-2% Pecan
1-2% Maple Syrup
4% Vanilla Bean
0.5% FA Zeppola

Might be a good starting point but not sure how strong the TFA Pecan is.

Bet you'd really like FW Butter Pecan & FW Hazelnut as they make for really good Ice Creams IMO.
