Coil lifespan and Ohms

Hi all, got a quick question regarding pre-made coil lifespan and Ohms. I'm using a CF4+ with Nautlius Mini tank, 1.8Ohm coils. After 2 days of heavy vaping (50/50 juice from the local smoke shop, 0.6% nic, I'm running it at 8.0W exclusively) and absolutely loving it!... I notice the vapes getting weaker.

When I put on a new (primed) coil, the LCD always seems to tell me a slightly lower Ohm rating than advertised (i.e., 0.47 for a 0.5, 1.78 for a 1.8). However I am seeing the value creep up with usage, right now the 1.8 is sitting at 2.01Ohms.

At what point do we generally 'throw in the towel' and start a fresh coil? I'm guessing probably nothing can be done to extend this lifespan besides lower usage? I know, the coils are cheap ($1.75-2.00 each).. just trying to figure out how many I need to keep on hand for a month.

Lots of variables:
Juice flavoring contents, some kill coils faster than others.
How often you vape.
How long you hold the button on.
Quality of the coils, and each coil.
Quality of the wicking, and each wick.

My Artic 1.0 coils always start off at 1.2. After 5 weeks, it's 1.28 on this one. Previous died after 3 weeks, pushing 1.4 before I pulled it. I pull when the vapor starts lacking flavor depth I like, and volume.
