Coil reading

I never tried a twisted coil build before today, I twisted 24g Canthal. On my ohms reader it was reading .18 cool I put it on my snow wolf and it read .08 and every time I fired it I would get a high temp indicator. Questions is what I do wrong or should I try it on a unregulated box?? If so any good mods to go with??

Maybe you got a bad ohm meter or problem with the Snow Wolf..I like dual parallel 24g Kanthel that comes in at .15 ohms.. It gets hot after 3 or 4 pulls back to back...so I set it down and vape another set-up till it cools off some, but I never get a hot message on my IPV3..Sorry I couldn't help more
