I was going to pick up this coiling tool called 3 in 1 coiling tool, http://www.vapemate.com/3-in-1-Coiling-Tool_p_600.html im still kinda struggling getting perfect coil's, & it would make it alot easier to do dual coils. Has anyone tried one? If it'll make perfect coils for $20 i think its worth it. Also wanna get this chuff enuff clone http://www.vapemate.com/Chuff-Enuff-Drip-Top-Clone_p_571.html it allows you to drip through it without taking cap off right. I have tugboat v2 clone so it should fit right? Thing is the airflow would be wide open so id have to do dual coils, ive only done singles so far i have ipv2.1 50 watts

I think a mod with more than 50 available watts would be more beneficial for getting the most out of a dual coil rda setup than coil wrapping gizmos and fancy caps. I would get a 100w+ mod first, then invest in accessories that will further help to dial in performance. Having to use thin'ish wire because your mod has a low'ish power limit will limit the rda's potential more than slightly imperfect coils or having to remove the cap to drip. Those items are certainly helpful, but not as helpful as being able to properly power a solid dual coil rda build. Or just get it all at once and you're set. Just my thoughts. Good luck.

I've been dripping on and off for a month now and still haven't went over 30 watts. Still don't get it. Maybe my lungs are just toasted from 27 years of smoking.

This is a fantastic coil tool. You can also get it cheaper on Amazon, I believe. I wrapped by hand for a good while, and I make beautiful coils, but I picked one up anyway to try it out. It's easy, and makes tight coils with anything from 26 gauge to 18 gauge. Doesn't do that well for wrapping parallel coils, but otherwise I recommend it.

I picked one up.... For some reason- I would always get the end of the wire - the one that inserts through the holes on the portion of the coiler that doesn't spin heat up red hot and then break off while testing right after install... I went back to wrapping my own and have greater satisfaction with that method for some reason

The one i got is basically like the kuro coilers but instead of needing 3 for diffrent size rods, mine has a cap which unscrews on bottom that hols extra rods. 3 ml 2.5 & 1.5 i think. I can wrap pretty tight coils but this makes perfect clean tight wraps.

I second the coil master. I got one, but don't use it much, the coils come out clean enough, just not tight enough for my liking but I *may* be a perfectionist when it comes to my coils. It's still an awesome coil jig setup though, if it were available when I started building coils, it might have been the perfect solution for me.

You can get the 3-in-1-Coiling-Tool a lot cheaper on ebay or fastec. I posted a link in the eBay thread for the eBay one.

I dig my Coil Master, but I don't like that I have to cut a piece of Kanthal to do it. I'm always wasting wire as opposed to wrapping off the spool itself like I used to with a pin vise/drill bit.

I've tried the Kuro coiler, the Coil master, the Revolver coil jig, and in the end, the best is... my own cheap-ass tool.
I made a few out of stainless welding rod I stripped the flux off of and soaked in a good solvent. Then thoroughly cleaned and sanded. They are basically just mandrels with a squared handle, but I use the one I haven't given away most of the time.
Oh, and I like yours. Actually meant to say that part first.

I use a Kuro Koiler. Real one. With all the others I tested, the center pins were loose fitting in the heads, the screws in the heads were not placed well for coiling, the screws in the head had rounded shoulders, the screws were loose in the heads, the set screws for the center pins stripped out when changing pins, the heads were loose because of 3 heads for 6 pins, and more.

I just found the others did not work as well or were poorly made.
