Connie Britton and Dylan McDermott, the stars of the first season of American Horror Story, are officially returning for AHS: Apocalypse.
As reported by Variety, the return of these two stars was anticipated, largely because the newest season of AHS is a crossover between the first season, AHS: Murder House, and the third season, AHS: Coven. Britton has not returned to the show since its first season and McDermott hasn’t been back since appearing in five episodes of the second season.
Britton and McDermott played husband and wife in the first season after moving into a house haunted by the ghosts of its previous occupants, and their own pasts. It appears both actors will reprise their original roles for this crossover.
