Considering Buying a Scale For Mixing

So, I have been considering buying a scale for mixing just so I can skip the whole syringes deal. I saw this on amazon and was considering buying it.


What do you think, and if you do mixing by weight, what kind of scale do you use ?

I use this one. Comes with 2 200g weights for calibration. Works well.

I was also wanting to look into scales rather then syringes. Just is a pain cleaning everything. and when you have mixtures that calls for 10 different concentrates It's a pain.

LB-501 mentioned above works great. As Dan pointed out, it comes with the needed calibration weights, which can be an additional cost on other scales. It also doesn't auto-shutoff when plugged in, but even with batteries I've never run into a problem. Other scales may be less expensive and/or better, but I'd buy this again in a heartbeat.

Lb-501. I did my research and people here helped me decide. Best decision I've made in my mixing adventures. So much more accurate and easier. Less mess/waste/cleanup. Do it. You'll be happy you did.

yes ! get a scale ! just make sure it reads 0.01 grams and you will be fine. I would recommend a calibration weight also.

I'll chime in as well - by all means, get a scale! It makes mixing so much easier and faster. I got the LB-501 and love it. As long as it's plugged in it won't shut off automatically. Even with batteries the auto-off isn't too bad. The backlit display is a nice touch as well. I don't miss popping tops off of flavoring bottles and cleaning syringes at all!

I switched to the scale two years ago and never looked back I highly recommend...I also would like to suggest using dropper top bottles instead of the pipettes ..usually flavors come in dropper top bottles anyway

Lb501 is the way to go. Just this week switched to mixing by weight and I can't tell you how much of a game changer it is. It's so much easier and cleaner and more precise I can't believe it. Best $30 I've ever spent on vape related stuff, seriously

Look up botboy141's guide to mixing by weight, then Google the term "specific gravities for flavor vendors". Everything you need to know will come from those 2 resources.
