The CW is going to be infected when Containment premieres midseason. The series set in Atlanta is based on the Belgian show called Cordon. The basics: a mysterious epidemic breaks out in the city -- and yes, Atlanta is apparently cursed-- and in order to prevent the infection from spreading, part of the city is put under cordon sanitaire. Drama unfolds as characters wrestle with the events at hand. Executive producer Julie Plec was joined by cast members Claudia Black (Dr. Lommers), David Gyasi (Lex), Chris Wood (Jake), and Hanna Mangan Lawrence (Teresa) at New York Comic Con for a screening of the pilot and a question and answer session.

There are intense moments, as well as a fair number of gross out scenes with splattering blood and bodily fluids.
