Frank Tieri returns to write the conclusion of his Convergence: Justice League tale. The issue boils down to an undersea battle and a struggle of a different sort faced by Mera. This struggle ends up being the most interesting element of the entire two-parter, along with all of the undersea action found in this issue. On the downside, this issue ends up featuring very odd character interactions and exploitative artwork.
One of the good things about this issue is the abundance of action seen throughout the majority of these pages. With the title of “Justice League,” tons of superheroics are always a welcome element. This is a definite improvement over the first issue that didn’t feature much in the way of this. The undersea battles seen here are entertaining, and it gives readers the chance to see characters like Jade and Jesse Quick in action once again.
