Cooling agent in dessert flavors?

I had an idea, wondering if cooling agent would work in an ice cream, milkshake, or iced coffee recipe, but don't really want to buy it unless I know it will work.

Has anyone tried it?

Yes, TFA Koolada, Menthol, and/or FW Extreme Ice, at around 0.5% can be used.

I enjoy the Cooling Agent by HiLIQ. I don't know if its actually Koolada. It doesn't tear my throat apart like Koolada did. It's tasteless and very little is needed. I have the 40% and takes 1 to 3 drops per 10ml to get a nice cooling sensation.

I've used Koolada with Pineapple flavor, which makes it almost seem like pineapple sherbet. But as the others have mentioned, you don't need much at all for a cool sensation; use too much, and it has a really wonky taste.

One thing to note about using Koolada, I'd keep it to a smaller sized mix that you might use up somewhat quickly. It can fade over time.
