So i just got a stingray X mech mod with a infinite lava rda (.5 ohms with 3 mg nicotine 100% vg) if I put this on my stingray I cough almost every time when I exhale, but if i throw the same rda (with the same build and juice) on my EVIC its smooth and i don't cough even at 30 watts, I even tried it on my friends istick at 40 watts and it was fine. Can anyone give me any tips or suggestions I was thinking it was an airflow issue until I put it on my EVIC. Also the battery in the Stingray is a sony VTC4 18650 2100 mah batteries (also the same that I put in my EVIC)

Coughing when using mech mod but not my VV/VW device?

Per Ohm's law, your fully charged VTC4 is putting out 35.3 watts to your 0.5Ω net resistance atty... so, if you can run it at 40 watts on another power source with no issue, I'd look elsewhere for your problem.
Go back and double check your net resistance with a known accurate meter... it may be lower than you think, consequently, drawing a higher wattage (from your unregulated mech) than you imagine. For example, if you actually have 0.35Ω net, thats 50 watts at 4.2v.
