Cracked a Kayfun tank (with pics)

It finally happened.. I cracked one of the plastic center tank pieces on one of my Kayfuns.

For reference, this tank material is listed as "polypropylene". I was vaping a juice that I thought was safe (Unicorn's Blood from Fuzion). Do the vertical cracks indicate that maybe it was just stress and not the juice? It didn't crack until after a couple of hours of vaping on it.

Looks like the juice was the culprit to me.

I've done that to an m tank section on a kayfun, the same vertical cracks. Mine never leaked, but I got a replacement before rebuilding it. Used it for a good week easily like that. I also cracked the threading on the mini window like yours, but that was my fault. Replacements are only 3 bucks t a B&M near me, so you should be able to order super cheap online.

I definitely over tighten kayfuns, I'm just so paranoid about getting it sealed well. Metal on plastic is not great for threading, so that might have stressed it, too.

Also, as long as the threads are good, and it's not cracked through, you should be fine with it temporarily. I can't top fill for the life of me, so I need the window. If you leak a tank of juice, though, I didn't tell you to try ;).

Ooh... I had only seen those for a ridiculous price somewhere, didn't know FT had em'. I've never ordered from them, but maybe I need to now. Do they fit well, and is it just a press fit gasket, or threaded? Please do tell.

Ok. I just used google, what a thought lol. They are cheap as hell, and they have copper and quartz, and all sorts of styles. I'm gonna need a copper quartz tank methinks.

O ring fit only, not pressed or threaded. After a lot of usage it spins if you dont grip the ring when you unscrew for top fill. But it doesn't leak from the o rings.

Cool. I don't top fill anyway as I've maybe gotten it down once? I can't afford to waste the juice and I'm fine with the screw. Sounds like this would be great for me. Thanks for the answer!
