The green face plate to my rx200 is cracking...I just got it a few days ago. I have not had it in the sun or extreme heat...any ideas why this is happening? Is it safe to use?

Wow. Looks like bad plastic. Is the plastic still stable or do the cracks go all the way thru? I'd put a wrap on it if the plastic is still solid. It should be perfectly fine to use. Not sure how some cracks in the faceplate could make it unstable.

My black one is doing the same thing. Very reminiscent of nitro lacquered guitars checking with age. Thats my guess, whatever they used to paint/color the battery door and faceplate dont take heat well, and I dont know about you but sometimes I run my RX hot and the face gets pretty warm. Either way, repeated heating and cooling mixed with whatever was used for the color is probably what caused it. No reason to worry about it, just cosmetic.

Hey I stumbled upon something after doing the firmware upgrade. If you hold the Fire button and the down button together while the unit is turned of it gives you the three battery voltages. Also if you hold the up and fire buttons while it is off you can set your temp coefficients. That one was in the PDF on the site for the upgrade. Just an FYI lol

Personally, I see no reason to do the upgrade. I don't even use 200w, don't need 250w lol

Well the battery thing probably still works. Try it out and see. Might not have been part of the upgrade. Actually it's pretty cool to know exact battery voltages along with the little battery indicator

How do I go about doing the upgrade?

Here's a link to download the software http://www.wismec.com/product/reuleaux-rx200/ Download it, unzip it to somewhere on your computer. Take the batteries out of your RX200 and plug it into your usb on the computer. Wait until the computer says device found and ready to use. Then go to where you unzipped the download file and click on the little picture of wisemac. That's the exe file. Then click update and select wisemac rx 200 version 3.10 and follow it through. Takes like 3 seconds to update. Scroll down the page from the link to TCR and there's a PDF that tells you about setting temp coefficients. Hope this helps !

You'll never really need the 250 watts but it gives you bragging rights that your device is 250 watts LMAO. Although at a Vape Show I was Vaping 260 watts on my Megatron 260 ! Everyone wanted to try it to say they did it. Don't anyone that reads this dare try this unless you really know what your doing !!!!!! It's dangerous and you can burn your lung tissue right out if you don't know exactly what your doing !
