Just curious. Yesterday I used for first time Uwell crown at 75 watts it was perfect. It was outstanding flavor and clouds. Today it sat for better part of day since I was out and didn't want to carry my big ipv4s which the crown is on. I took my d2 out with Atlantis 2. Anyways. I got home put some different juice in the crown and started vaping. After the 2nd hit. Tip was so hot and I couldn't take long inhales like I usually do. So I let it sit for a few. Went back to it. Same thing. I even went down in watts to 60 and I just couldn't do it. Flavor wasn't there and clouds weren't like yesterday. It was unbearably hot. Any suggestions. If I'm doing something wrong. I'm not getting any burnt or dry taste. Just not happy with how it performed on day 2. I'm using the preinstalled .5 dual coil. The juice is same level. 80vg-20pg. 6 nic

I do not have a Crown yet, but I noticed that my Atlantis 2 acted similar to what you are describing. I noticed that the wattage did not move on my device, but the voltage had almost doubled, as did the resistance. I took the pin on the tank out, put it back in and made sure the coil was seated good. I also made sure my tank was screwed tight into my Sigelei. Problem went away. I hope you work it out.

I didn't take pin all the way out but just enough to see if move out. Screwed on tight. Still same thing. Sucks man.

I went up to 72.3 watts and got a burnt hit. Dropped down to 65 no burnt hit but still hot can't take any long hits. And twice this morning. I took a hit and was nice. I looked at screen on my ipv4s and resistance said .28 and voltage said 3.6 but the coil is a .5 and wattage was at 6.something before. Took another hit and went back to the .5 on screen and higher voltage where I think it should b.
Man I was so excited the first day using it then not sure what happened. Bummed out

Could possibly be just a bad coil/head. If you have another, I would try it and see if it fixes your problem. Good luck!

I had to drop it to 57. No burnt hits. Flavor isn't as pronounced but at least I can take better hits without it getting really hot.

First day vaping was better than my Aspire Triton but then I noticed that on the 2nd day, there was less vapors. Increased to 350 degrees at 55 and it got really hot. Stopped using it since and returned to the Triton on Sigelei 75.

I went through like 2 bad coils out of the 4 I've had so far. I'm now onto the 0.5 and it's working better than both the ni200 coils and the 0.25 Dvc's.

I'm on the dual .5 haven't tried others yet. This thing got such great reviews. That's only reason I got it

Yeah. I just got it because it looked unique and promising. I so far don't like he dual 0.25's or the ni200's, but this 0.5 is working wonders at 50.0watts on my snow wolf and Sigelei.
Maybe it's just there was a bad batch of those coils or something because the company is really new and that was there first project, the Uwell crown. I actually spoke with a dude from Uwell and we spoke for a good twenty minutes. New product in late October. But the Uwell crown is a good design and works best with the 0.5ohm DVC

Do you know if they offer warranty. I am really disappointed in this tank. Now currently I can't top fill. If I unscrew the top the whole thing comes apart. Glass and whole top assembly

If it's giving you problems, stick with it dude, that crown tank really does work well. Try and get yourself some new coil's and try them out before you give up. And also make sure you hold the base of the tank at the Toppest part you can grab, meaning only twist the part that's got a design and pattern, the peice the mouthpiece connect too only, and twisting the rest of the tank the opposite way. It should come apart. They just barley. Made this tank, the company Uwell actually put out a great product especially for it being the first one of there own. I'm telling you, there is just something going on in the recent batch of coils that ain't right because I've tried over 4 now and I've had the same problem with two of them, they were spent by the 2nd day and I was thinking the same thing to mySelf. I actually bought myself a mini super tank yesterday for half the price, and it works twice as well, for whatever that's worth.

And I cannot find a warranty or return policy :-\

You are going to be extremely happy with the super tank, I have the mini Aswell. And dude, it's so dope. The flavor is kicking ass too on the 0.2 coil, I heard the 0.5 is even better!
I learned to tone it down a bit, I've been cloud chasing with SUBOHM tanks this past month, and I've found that the crown and super tank have the best flavor and the tfv4 has the best flavor+clouds in combo.

I now Vape around 45-60w at the most, unless I'm showing off my clouds. Before that, it was a minimum of 70watts.

Btw, this mini super tank fucking blowing a massive ass clouds :D

I'm almost tempted to order the tfv4 now.

I had the same problem with the top fill. Couldn't get the top or bottom to unscrew. Instead the glass and and tube would disassemble and leak juice everywhere. Had to take back to my vape shop and they used surgical gloves and rubber band to unscrew. They coached me not to over tighten. Seemed to do the trick but there's leakage where the air hole is on the bottom. I have to admit that when it worked the first time, it was much better than the Aspire Triton but that temp control may have been the reason.

I haven't used temp control. And I made sure I didn't over tighten. That's y I'm frustrated. The whole thing disassembled while trying to unscrew top or bottom. I didn't get any juice leak Til the glass part came off. I would like to send it back to the eBay store I bought from.

Try cleaning the Crown AND lubricating ALL the o rings with juice before you assemble it. Also check the o rings to insure they are seated properly. Is your unit an authentic or a clone? I've not had the disassembly problem you noted.

I haven't had any issues with my Crown either...i've used the .25, .5 and nickel coils. It vapes great. I have noticed that unless I'm vaping at high watts (70+) I have to keep the air holes closed down a bit otherwise it seems to flood a little...except for the nickel coils that is.

Issue now is I can't get either top or bottom fill off without disassembling glass at same time. It's pissing me off and I know I made sure there was no over tightening

If the top threads are too tight (or rough) you can try to loosen them a tad by taking it apart, removing the O-ring and rubbing them down with fine steel wool. Check to see if one side is poorly machined. If both sides look fine I would hit the male threads. You only want to rub the tight connection.

This is not something I generally recommend, but if the tank is unusable and can't be returned it may be worth a shot.

Yea. It's annoying. I broke down after dealing with this tank and order a smok tfv4 even tho I would like the crown to work properly

Why not try to contact the Ebay store you bought it from and explain your problems. Ask if you can exchange or return it. Doesn't cost anything to ask. Good luck!

I just cleaned out the whole tank and put it back together finally got everything unscrewed. What a pain. I put a new coil in it and I'm letting it soak up for a whole day and see what happens. Then I will email the place I bought the tank from

I don't own the crown, but 75 watts sounds awfully high for a .5 coil. Typically, a coil run beyond its ability will kick ass for a little while, then it won't wick well, work well, or taste good afterwards. Going out on a limb here, but I think you may have burned out the cotton. I bet the .5 coil is best around 50 watts, but I don't know the crown specifically.

The .5 dual coil ranges from 30 to 80. I figured if it was too high on watts I would get burnt or dry hits and I wasn't. I started getting really hot drip tip that's y I was like the hell is going on.

Nevermind, I guess they're rated for up to 80 watts.

I did what another member suggested. I cleaned out tank really good, disassembled everything. Let dry over night. Put a different coil in. Primed the new coil and left for work. To let it sit and soak up all day. See what happens since I was so excited about the performance the first day of using the crown. But I did order a smok tfv4 since my Atlantis 2 isn't doing it for me anymore.

What he said.
I know it's rated that high but typically new coils do go through a sort of "performance adolescence" where they have weird phases and moods before settling off. I find I usually can run my Atlantis coils very high the first few days and towards the end of their life they don't want to handle as much without producing a weird flavor.

I hear you though on the atlantis Mr Mayhem... I'm about to order a TFV4. Looks alot better than the Atlantis too In my opinion.

I ordered the crown to replace my Atlantis and seems like my Atlantis is doing better than my crown. Hopefully that changes. I ordered the tfv4 cuz once again it got good reviews but so did the crown. So I will see what happens.

Im vaping my crown as I type this at 80w with the .25 coil and its rocking. I can only suspect you got a bad coil or something because this tank is amazing. Most every reviewer Ive watched states it's in their favorites. The tfv4 has been reviewed well too. Hope you get it all worked out.

I don't know, perhaps their coils are hit or miss? I've rotated all three coils and all three of mine perform well.

I'm liking the RBA head. The Crown stock coils were burning through juice so I put a .95 ohm clapton coil in the RBA and it's doing great. I'll put fewer wraps next time to see how it performs with a lower ohm build.

So starting using the .25. Same shit I can't vape above 70 watts. Really really hot vape and tip gets burning hot. Flavor isn't there yet waiting to break in coil. Hopefully after another full tank

I am really confused now. So just started vaping the .25 coil. First hits same as the .5 anything above 60 watts getting really hot drip tip like it burned my tongue. I went down to 60 and got little flavor a ok amount of vapor. I went back to 65-70 watts and it was awesome. I thought ok mayb finally broken in after 2 tanks then took another hit and its unbearably hot again. Wtf is going on. I'm doing everything right
