Damaged 18650

Hello

I recently bought two new vtc6's. When i recieved them i noticed one of them was damaged. I thought only the isolation was damaged so i ordered some new wraps becouse i didnt wanna go through the process of returning them. Today i noticed theres actually a dent in the battery itself. Im trying to get it replaced but now im wondering if this wil be a issue becouse i already charged the batteries three times. Would it be a problem to marry the new replacement cell with the older one i already have? I assume not becouse the difference wil be minimal? Tia!

If you use them in such a way that they last at least a full year up to a year and a half or so, which is considered normal use, then yes, the difference will be minimal even several weeks after you bought them (assuming they were still new when you bought them of course, which is part of the reason why buying them from a trusted vendor is always very highly recommended).
