Add another name to the Transformers writers room.
Following his turn as showrunner on Marvel's Daredevil, Steven S. DeKnight has enlisted in Paramount and Akiva Goldsman's brain trust charged with mapping out the future of the Transformers film franchise, according to Deadline.
We recently learned that DeKnight would not return as showrunner for Season 2 of the acclaimed Netflix-Marvel superhero series. At the time, DeKnight tweeted he wasn't returning to Daredevil due to "a previous commitment in the feature world. Will reveal more down the road." However, DeKnight said today that Transformers isn't that project, calling Transformers "a cool project that popped up and fit my sched."
