So I went by my B+M yesterday and they had the clone on sale for 15 Canadian. Now it only came with the the one sleeve - ss - but the build quality for a clone looked decent enough. I've never used a dark horse but I had heard they were decent.
I put a dual fused clapton build on it, set the air flow maximum, put the dripper on and vaped it at about 70w on a .22 coil. For the life of me I could not screw down the chuff cap it came with and believe me I tried. Now it is a huge opening on the chuff so it was not a big issue as I prefer the drip anyway and all my own drip tips work. But beware. If you get the clone the chuff is a b##$ch to screw on.
So the vape. Okay clouds and okay flavor. It is like a mix of both. Honestly, I have at least four drippers I prefer although I'll use it on my Sigelei 75w. It could be my build - all my other drippers are below .2 ohm.
So I would not recommend the mini Dark Horse clone - unless you can get it like I did at a steal of a price.
