i bought some used 30T's. and i have been using mechs lately. the bottoms haave some small dents in them.
just how baad can ddents be and the battery is still ok ?
cleaning contacts = how ?
Personally I wouldn’t use those, but I always err to the extreme side of safety. Batteries are cheaper than doctor bills.dents, but they are very shaallow.

Well I guess I should answer the cleaning of the contacts also...
On the XXX it should have silver plated contacts... you can reach in like Bogan does in this snap shot

Press and hold the button, use your tweezers to unscrew, reverse to install...
hi5!
i was referring to the contacts of the batteries. but thanx for that pic, my XXX does not look like that. i wonder if @gsmit1 's XXX looks like that one, cause that looks easy to get loose. mine, nope.
hi5 ! lol
You have the common sense to know if they are dented to far to use safely, just know there is more to the battery than just the can dent.
How the chemical ions are separated is by fractions of a mm, and can cause the dendite formation I think that’s what it’s called, been a while since I looked at photos of the inners of liion batteries...and well get hot during use
In any case, small indents aren’t bad, concave dents and dents on the side of cans and positives are.
Be rad!
I have been wrapped up all day and still am. I will do my best before the end of the night to take a closer look at the pics and see if I can get some from my XXX.i was referring to the contacts of the batteries. but thanx for that pic, my XXX does not look like that. i wonder if @gsmit1 's XXX looks like that one, cause that looks easy to get loose. mine, nope.
