Looking to get some info on the differences between the original Derringer V1 and clones. Just bought an original and want to confirm it's legit. I've read that the air holes were slanted on originals, but mine don't seem to be. Photos I've seen on sites selling originals don't seem to be either. Did all, if any, original V1's come with slanted air holes or is that a V1.2 thing? Any other known differences would be appreciated.

i bought mine from a praxis dealer i loved it so much i bought a 20 dollar clone both great quality! only difference is the clone has phillips screws on the posts and the clone is like 1 mm taller the legit praixis's top cap does stay on better and moves more freely but they are equal quality in my opinion

Make sure you get the version with the updated positive post and pin if you get an authentic.
