November 12 marks the first-ever Disney+ Day, a celebration of the streaming service that includes a wealth of content from Disney, Marvel, Star Wars, National Geographic, and more. While it is honoring what came before, Disney is also releasing a ton of new films, shows, documentaries, and shorts alongside sharing a bit of what the future holds for the streamer.
Disney is sharing these updates in a Twitter thread from Disney+'s account, and we will be updating this page with all the biggest announcements as they happen throughout the day.
While we didn't get the long-awaited trailer for the Obi-Wan series headed to Disney+, we did get a behind-the-scenes featurette on Disney+ that shows off exciting concept art that hints at a rematch between Obi-Wan Kenobi and Darth Vader.
Not only did we get a Summer 2022 release window for Baymax!, an original series that is based on the characters from Big Hero Six, but we also got a trailer showing what fans can expect from the new show.

He will also be joined by his "prankster possum brothers Crash and Eddie," and many of the original characters will make an appearance as well.
Pegg also shared a video to celebrate Disney+ Day to show his ice sculpture skills which... run into a bit of a problem.
Gabrielle Union and Zach Braff stopped by the Disney+ Day celebrations to announce that the Cheaper by the Dozen reboot will be released on the streamer in March 2022.
Amy Adams and Patrick Dempsey shared that not only is Enchanted now on Disney+, but that its sequel - Disenchanted - will be released in 2022.
Diary of a Wimpy Kid author Jeff Kinney helped not only share a new poster for the Diary of a Wimpy Kid original movie that will be released on December 3, but also reveal that Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Rodrick Rules will be a new animated adventure that will arrive on Disney+ in 2022.
"Chase your dreams & be a star" when Beter Nate Than Ever arrives on Disney+ in Spring 2022. This original movie stars Aria Brooks, Michelle Federer, Rueby Wood, Norbert Leo Butz, Lisa Kudrow, and Joshua Bassett.
Will Smith and Chris Hemsworth are starring in two separate National Geographic special series that will send them across the world on breathtaking adventures. Will Smith's Welcome to the Earth will premiere on December 8 and will take Smith to "the ends of the Earth" to see some of the most magical places on our planet. In 2022, Limitless With Chris Hemsworth will "push the boundaries of human potential" and will try to answer the question, "How can we live longer and stronger?"
