I'd rather buy a sample of Nude Nicotine's 100 mg/ml Nicotine base, some VG, and PG, and some flavors, preferably FlavourArt (FA). Overall, it will be cheaper than a kit. In addition, you don't need everything of a kit. You can use some of your "old" liquid bottles, in order to take your first steps making DIY juice.
Wonderful for you and I really do not appreciate you quoting me to offer you opinion. There is nothing in a LB DIY Kit that will never get used.

NO, just tired of hearing the same old BS about things you will never use and you quoting me to say it. No reason to quote me because I have heard it before and I was trying to offer help to the OP and not DERAIL the thread.

I did that once. My first DIY nic was from there and it was TERRIBLE. They sent me a bottle of jalepeño sauce and labeled it 100MG per ML nicotine. I'd never suggest them to anyone starting out.

I'd suggest that you find a couple of recipes that sound good to you. Then select the flavors accordingly in the kit.
I have heard that many times but since I do not have 1st hand experience with it I don't usually say it.
I actually did buy my first Nicotine base from Nude Nicotine, and it was the sample. After that, I bought some more from NN. However, both times the Nicotine base was alright (clear, no black pepper flavor). Meanwhile though, I do buy my Nicotine from other sources, not due to bad experience with NN, but rather better experience with other Vendors. There was a big thread on Nicotine base here on VU, listing some real good Vendors.
It just seems to be another confirmation! You're trying to confirm your importance by posting your opinions on VU, as much as possible. It's not the count of posts that matters, it's the information that you post. I've seen you on many posts, and always respected your opinions! I remember "liking" a lot of your posts. However, for some reason, you've decided to become offensive here! It wasn't just quoting your post, that made you feel, in order to your need to attack me! There's more behind that! I'm not GOD, thus I don't know everything about vaping. However, during my (4+ years) journey, I did learn a lot, and I love to pass it on, without having to get into unnecessary fights with fellow vapors. Disagreement is healthy for forming opinions!

I'll vouch for the diy kit from nicotine river as well, because you get 15 x10 ml flavoring that you can personally pick and its from everything, not just limited to a couple flavors from specific brands. If you add 1 or 2 extra flavoring you even get free shipping, how's er do keep in mind, processing can take up to 4 days because they triple check everything, but the moment its out the door you'll get it quick, because its mostly shipped via ups or FedEx. Plus you get VG/pg and nicotine with it as well as a beaker, syringes, gloves etc.
Also nicotine rivers customer service is one of the kind, very helpful and polite, as well as them being very active on the diy forum. One thing I'm not a huge fan off, is the syringes it comes with, measuring by volume is a pain in the butt, so do yourself a favor and jump on over to amazon and pick up a scale, the one I use is the aws-501 but its $40, you can get decent scales for cheap tho (ranging from $5-40) all you need to look out for, is that it can read down to 0.001g. Happy mixing
