Hi everyone. Im a newbie to doing e-liquid. Had done few batch of pure VG juice. Well, i wanted you guys opinion on the ratio on the mix. I really like the cloud chaser as my pure VG juice but i want to start doing a 60VG / 40PG or 70VG / 30PG even a 50/50. my concern is that i really like the cloud chaser but love a good flavor. What would the best ratio mix? What are the basic step and precautions do i need. Keep in mind, i WONT be adding nicotine in this juices. I have research ( YOUTUBE ) about that airing, stipping and all. I am confuse in all the steps of stipping, airing and etc. What is the best method? Cause i know when i did the pure VG, i didnt have to do all the stipping, airing, and ect. PLEASE HELP and give me advises. Again, i like the cloud chaser but would love a good flavor as well. And can i use a vanilla extract from the bakery isle as flavoring? Bought some stuff from wizard labs and flavor west already like the flavors, sweetner. enhancer, VG and PG.

Your VG/PG ratio depends on what atty you will use. Some tanks don't like high VG juice. However, all of my juice I'm using in my tanks are 80VG/20PG. I have not experienced any difference in stronger/weaker flavor, due to higher VG. You can NOT use the flavors from the shelf! I personally prefer FlavourArt (FA) for my juices.

Currently using a Atlantis V2 and a thundercloud with VPRS on a mechanical, IPV D2 and eleaf istick tc 40 w. But my concern is that, how long will I have to wait to be safe and ready to use. I know it needs to be stopping or air out or something.

I just started mixing max VG, with 10% distilled water to thin out the VG. I get good flavor, and good clouds. The only PG in the mix is frm flavoring.

As Neuner said, no you can't use flavoring from the supermarket. It's got all sorts of other stuff in it.

As far as steeping time, I hardly bother to steep. Vanilla Custard is better after a couple days, but I vape it right away anyway. Most fruits don't improve from steeping. Tobaccos can get better with age. I just don't like waiting. I try to find mixes that I can vape right away.

Also, seed steeping works well - if you have some leftover liquid in a bottle, make more of the same on top of it. Somehow it speeds up the melding.

I use an ultrasonic cleaner with build in heater to speed up steeping, if needed. Other are using a slow cooker. Otherwise:

Illl kinda just echo what has been said already. you probablly wont need much steeping especially with zero nic amd airing out isnt necessary unless there is a lot of alcohol in the flavoring you are using. supermarket stuff isnt good to vape, people do it but people also eat weird things like couch cushions , I seen it on tv ! lol PG/VG or DW like @Cramptholomew uses all kinda depends on the hardware you are using. If im dripping its Max VG or if Im going to use a tank for whatever reason Illl thin it out with as much as 50% PG depending on the kind of airflow I get on the device.

Hey I have noticed this and thought it might just be my imagination--or the fact that the older juice flavors the whole bottle. So there is a name for this, seed steeping? very inneresting.

O! Succulent couch cushions! Not to brag, but I've made vapes that rival some of the more flavorsome furniture padding on the market.

I seed steep my tobacco's and tobacco absolutes. I use @ 10% seed and NO nic and IMO it works well in giving a new mix a nice kickstart. I also use a magnetic mixer I made and use no heat other than warming up my base a bit before I add flavor(s). I don't add the nic until its steeped its time and ready to use, it only takes a few days for nic to incorporate into the juice vs. up to weeks for flavors. This method works nicely with my 60vg/40pg juice blends
