I have never built my own but I have ordered some magnets from fatdaddyvapes.com, seems to have quite a bit of diy box stuff, shipping was very quick too:)

Yes I do need to learn as well but I was even told by someone who used to make there own a couple years ago that my wire was way to tough what videos and everything would you suggest for me to learn how to solder so I am doing it correctly

Soldering is a science. You just can't get advice and automatically know how to solder. I'm new to this site, but have been soldering electronic equipment for 40+ years. There are two very important facts about soldering....

#1- Neatness counts!
#2- NEVER blow on the solder to cool it. It will cause crystallization, which weakens the connection!
#3- Practice makes perfect!

Ok thanks and what else would you suggest for a paste or anything any specific brand or anything?

If you are using a lead/tin solder, a rosen core solder will work with no paste. If you are using a silver based solder, any lead free rosen paste will work. Now, as I've said, I'm new to mod box construction, so maybe someone has a specific type they like for modding. But, the principles are the same, regardless!
