DNA 75C or DNA 250C Squonk Mods

Hello everyone,

I really want a DNA squonk mod. I just don't know which one to get. I've given up on finding the Therion BF DNA75c. It's out of stock everywhere and discontinued. I'm not looking to spend all that money on a rebel mod really. I just saw the VAPECIGE DNA250c Squonker. It looks alright I guess. Dual 18650, good price. Wondering if anyone's got any advice. TIA.

Although I really enjoy my Therion bf for build quality, looks and feel in hand, honestly, the battery life sucks on a single 18650 with the DNA 75C chip. That chips efficiency is at or just below 85%. A DNA 250C chip is, I believe, 98% efficiency. Have you considered the Lost Vape Drone 250C? They have the amber models available on line right now, with the black versions becoming available mid to late next week. The Vapecige has never interested me, it just has a very cheap look to me compared to other dual 18650 squonkers, I can't say if it's any good. You won't regret picking something up with the 250C chip, great battery life and replay mode is fantastic.

I see that for $120. I doubt you find one cheaper than that. Don't feel bad about plastic. Some of the most expensive Mods are plastic. It looks fine to me. I never had one. So I cannot say if it will break or whatever. It is mainly how you treat it though. I imagine if you treat it good it should be fine. I actually kind of like it. The blue one. If it is for some reason DOA, any reputable store will stand behind it. You may get cheaper at Fastech but I highly advise against ordering from China. It takes a Month to get it and they do not stand behind it. Even if they did expect 3-4 Months to get another if it arrives broken. Most likely reputable sites at least test them. So do not worry if the package arrives already open. They tested it for you. Since these Chinese Mods can be DOA. If they are working and you treat them good they should continue to work then. I can tell you others but they are only 2-15x that price!

This is how I would go about which one to purchase.

1. Available funds: What I can comfortably afford without the wife asking how much
2. Mobile: Is the mod small enough for out and about use, or will it be completely a table/home mod
3. Hard use or not: Do I care how used this mod will become... aka battle scars...pocket rash etc.
4. Wattage I vape: I vape only at 14-30w normally
5. Bottle size: This is where one would look at 8.5ml vs 10ml... some squonks come with larger bottles...how fussed will I be?
6. Warranty: This goes hand in hand with hard use or not... a lot of Chinese mfgs have shit for warranty. Due Diligence, do it
7. 18650/21700: This also goes hand in hand with the Wattage I vape... 75C is 85% efficient and the 250C is 97% efficient... how fussed are you swapping batteries?


I use a DNA75 Palm squonk in 18650... 8.5ml bottle... in wattage mode...24w most of the time... I get 4 refills a battery... not fussed about swapping batteries.

EDIT: When I was 100% squonking only... I had a cheap Pico Squeeze+ RSA for out and about, and left the Palm DNA75 at home... The Pico was perfect and cheap...if I dropped it, so what, if it broke, not a big deal for it was under $35 total for the mod+rsa.

I happen to prefer 1x battery but indeed the DNA75C efficiency is horrible.

Right for $120 from element vape it even comes with an RDA. I can't see it being too bad, and I really want this for an "at home" mod. I have a dna250 that I got for a steal that I will use for my travel mod along with my Recurve Squnoker, my Minikin V2. I'm gonna put my intake rta on my dna 250 and I think the 250C squonker would be very nice. I want to have replay and a few other things that come with the 250c chip.
