Newbie, just discovered temp control on my Wismec RX200 and now I want it ALL!
Been reading about the DNA chipset and love the idea that all the settings are configurable.

so I'm thinkin a Triade DNA 200 for the house & a HCigar VT133 for the road.

LIke the idea of the replaceable batteries, though on the house mod that's not a big concern, however a replaceable battery is.

With all the sales prior to the 8/8 doomsday I found some great deals on these devices, have read a bunch of favorable reviews.

Currently my favorite tanks are (in order of preference)
on the RX200 - Aspire Cleito @ 55w & 220(c) with a .4 ss coil - great flavor, but juice consumption is kinda high and it gets hot

on my KBox 200 - SMOK TFV4 @ 55w (flavor is not as good as the Cleito but for some reason the atomizer wouldn't work in TC mode on the RX200

Just got a Crown II that I want to run in TC Mode as well

AM I NUTS ??? (to buy more mods just for the DNA200 chip) ?

I'll likely use the old mods to pay it forward to folks I get to try Vaping to quit smoking I'm 1 for 2 in that regard so far.

Don't know if they will continue or not; the last 2 batches they got they held the price. I picked up my VT133 here for only 88 bucks! Might be worth waiting for to see if the next batch is the same price. So far I like the DNA chip; kind of a pain to have to use escribe but the dang thing works great!

Depends on the coil and your wattage uses for your actual battery life. For me, I can screw on a 5 ml tank@ 40 watts and the combo lasts until I go to bed. One nice thing is the USB ports which allow for a quick boost during the day if you need to. I can always find a laptop, car stereo or cigar lighter. When I get home the Xtar charger has them ready to go for the next day. Never have run out of battery yet.

If your nuts then I need to be locked up. I have 11 DNA200 mods - been collecting them for about 10 moths though. Personally I think the DNA200 is the best chip out. If you build at all try an Aromamizer Supreme - Great Build Quality, easy to build/wick, and excellent flavor

I think you meant VapeNW. I'm not busting your chops over the typo. I'm just putting it in there in case anyone is looking for the VT133.

5 of a Kind - VT133's

I've been using temp control on my 200 on ss with no problems. Don't know why the tf s would be any different thank others.

Thanks for enabling my new "addiction".
Ordered both. Learning to use the software and configure them will give me something to obsess over instead of buying more stuff .

Enjoy. One thing I like about the DNA is not only the chip but the software. Dive in and there's a lot of entertainment there.

Thanks Steve I've been reading that thread and saw you had posted a configuration file for it which of course I will use as a starting point. Got a crown ii I'm going to use with it.

Will be asking a whole lot of questions I'm sure

Got any opinions on ohms for coils when running temp control.
.25 or .5? I've been favoring the .5 in my cleito.

I need to order more for the crown.

Not quite ready for a RTA, though that's probably the next step. Wonder if anyone makes on for the crown II

^^^^

if they haven't already, they will.

But let us know how the Crown II is... I'm very curious. The original Crown is an enormously popular tank, be interested to see if they've improved on near perfection :).

I thought I was writing this thread, lol. I just got into DNA mods after buying the Realuex DNA200. So after freaking out on this 8/8 deadline I've bought like 6 or 7 DNA mods in the last two weekends, another Realuex, VT133, SMY75, a Cana (Hana clone), Limitless, Higar 38Watt and getting in on the Lavabox group but with CrazyChef. I think that's it but I'm right there with you on converting to DNA mods.

Haha - glad I aint the only one. Looked at the Lavabox, couldn't find one to buy anywhere. Think I'll be good with these.
Now it's coils I'm about to obsess over. Either stocking up or RTA or Coil Art dunno

Yeah, me too, I'm hoping that every tank I use from here forward makes a rebuildable atty or I don't buy it! Good luck in your endeavors my twin DNA vapor!

@cynkrzy I've only been buying RTA's for awhile now (years). Making coils isn't really that hard. Just get a cheap coiling tool with a few different size mandrels and it's not bad at all. With something like an Aromamizer that has a Velocity style deck and you just fold the wicks over into the deck, it takes a lot of the difficulty out. I got a kit from Gearbest for ~$6 that included 6 different size mandrels. Here's the one I'm talking about (it ships out of their USA warehouse). Some SS wire and organic cotton and you are set for years.

Thanks Steve - I got a buddy who builds coils and makes juice. I'm gonna see what he thinks of a "CoOp" - My eyesight sucks, so I might be better off getting a couple of RTA's and getting him to do the actual builds.

Funny thing is I was supposed to be just using this to quit smoking and then quit this as well. But I like it too damn much, and the Gadget Geek in me is having WAY TOO MUCH FUN... so now I'm just gonna get off the Nicotine and then Vape till I get bored of it (not likely) or die!

Another Question - Are the rebuildable atomizers that come with the SMOK and others like the Kanger TopBox Nano any good at all ? Should I start with one of them.

Lat thing I really need is another tank... well except that 7ml rebuildable I just linked...I mean it's 7ml

Oh Shyte - I see some new Gadgets gettin bought

I understand not everyone likes ordering from FastTech but I just wanted to let you know they are about $10 bucks cheaper and that includes shipping. If you do go that route, select USPS E-Packet in the shipping options. It's free for orders $20 and up and I usually get my orders in 2 weeks or less (if the item is in stock).

The only concern most people have is they are in China and they want their stuff now. I like them because I can use PayPal and to me that gives the buyer extra protection. Their prices don't hurt either ;)

Fair enough, at lest it's not a horror story. In this case I can probably wait.

I just placed my first two FT orders on Saturday and Sunday (yes, got a Supreme in there).
It's Tuesday and it hasn't shipped yet... I blame Steve.

He's the reason I got six DNAs in two weeks as well.
We keep buying out all of Ecig's stock it seems. :p

The Rafale VRBA works on the Crown II. Doesn't look like the easiest thing to build on but it works as good if not better than the stock coils. This place had a 4th of July sale on it for $2.95, might want to check back every week and see if they drop the price again or just search it on vapecrawler http://www.vaperoyalty.com/uwell-rafale-vrba-head-kit/
