If anyone else is interested, good ole Phil Busardo posted his new youtube video highlighting the DNA40 temperature controlled board up. Brandon form Evolv is there explaining the technology as well. Seem nice to have the promise of no more burned cotton!

Having to use nickel wire is gonna slow down the growth of this product. People don't like change. Il, wait until this grows a bit.

first question...how is the use of no resistance wire going to slow down the growth of the product?
by growth , if you mean sales, evolv has a massive contract with innokin, hana and vaporshark..
they have a second more economical dna40 board almost ready to go...
and if the results of the study underway to determine what happens to eliquids at high wattage use go the way i believe it will, this company will rule the lands..
and fuck the few that dont embrace change, just means when i go to order a 2nd and a 3rd it will be in stock:D

Not to mention, that Brandon even said the board was only $10 more than the standard DNA30, so at that point, even an rDNA from vaporshark should be what, $199 instead of $189? I'm thinkin, I'd almost give my left nut to not have anymore shitty burnt cotton?

and you dont have to use nickel wire, can use it as a regular dna with 40 watts and some added safety features

Yeeeesh, my bad. . . Just don't like the idea of having to use nickel on devices with the dna40 and kenthal with others. If I have my Atty with nickel on the dna40 and have to change it for a mech I'm gonna get tired of that real quick.

you can use kanthal with the device, just cant have temp control...
you will be throttled back to max 40 watts with limited current..
thats a win, win if you can vape at 40 watts and under...
i believe evolv is working with kanger and aspire, asking them to build coils for their respective tanks with nickel wire...

wasnt trying to put your post down, sorry if i came off over zealous and disrespectful...your position and points are relevant and have merit

So if i'm going to use nickel wire, do i attach it to the kanthal or is it going to use nothing other than nickel for the coil?

straight non resistance wire...
never used the stuff before, but, as i understand, there is a tempered one from temco that is not as soft...
