The mini protank 2 and the protank 2 do use the same coils. Versions beyond that were sold with dual coils, I believe. I don't know if they're interchangeable beyond the version 2. I'm sure someone can clear up that part for you.

Thanks, MFS is having a 40% off sell so was going to order some if they all used the same. otherwise i really don't need 10 coils.

I have both, they use the same coil. The mini protank 1 (original without replaceable drip tip) and mini protank 2 (the one that you can replace drip tip). Yes, same coil.

I finally saw the banner for the sale. Unless you're planning on rebuilding, I'd get 2 if that's what you use. It's a great price at 40% off. I usually pay about $6 for the ones my boyfriend likes.

They should have a 40% off on these and always sell them for $4.77 for a 5 pk. in the US. $7.95 is way too much.
I bought mine in Canada at canvape in Dec/2014 for 5.95 a 5 pack and now I see they are down to $4.95

Everything is suppose to be cheaper in the US??

Other than the sale that OP mentioned, I've not seen them cheaper anywhere. I rebuild mine, but boyfriend prefers the ease of stock coils. I've even offered to build his, lol.

They are. MFS has a good rep, so no worries if you do decide to order from them in the future. It's fun finding stuff you forgot you had!

Protank 2 uses same coils protank 3 same coils as aerotank etc
Basically it's single or dual.
Dual coils are for later kanger products single for earlier...
I have one protank 2 mini I barely even touch now cause I don't buy coils and don't make them.
I use mostly nautilus now

Protank, Protank mini, Protank 2, Protank 2 mini and standard EVODs..All the same coils.

Not sure why more dont rebuild coils..So much less money and when you have it down pat you can build one in 5 minutes or less..Simple tools needed and can custom build for a much better flavor and vapor production..ive been using the same coil heads that came with my evod kit about one year ago...learning to rebuild ive saved 100s of dollars on needing to buy coils..stock coils suck imo...Heres a real coil.

30g kanthal..11 wraps...1.8mm i.d...raw organic cotton wick.
Measured 2.3ohm on mvp meter...9.5 10 watts....fantastic.
