do bacteria grow in tanks?

i may have been courting disaster.
i dedicate a tank to a specific flavor.
then, i leave it alone til the coil fails.
since i've been switching between 5 tanks every day,
the coils last more than a month.
the inside of the tank doesn't get cleaned for that month or more.
i've just been cleaning the drip tips.

am i vaping a bacterial stew that will eventually get me sick?
in fact, even when i do clean tanks. i just wash, not disinfect.

am i doomed?

As Lucy said PG has antibacterial properties so it’s not a great place for bacteria to grow. Also I’m terrible about washing and/or disinfecting my tanks. I have five mods running five tanks and they all have their flavor so it’s very rare for me to change flavors in a tank. This is the only time they would get cleaned but I do use everclear because it’s great at removing residual flavor with the side benefit of disinfecting it as well. Point being this is done maybe once or twice a year and I’ve yet to get sick. The only caveat I’d add is I use 50/50 juice so if your using lower % PG it may be different but I doubt it.

I do rinse my tanks when rewicking, but just in water.
Unless getting rid of a burned flavor or strong flavoring in a tank I only rinse with water and I think my Subtank Mini that I vape daily has not been rinsed in months as I just change the RBA head with a built one and refill.

So no I do not think any decent ejuice is likely to grow bacteria.
Mind controlling Micro aliens though....

there's a difference?
bacteria are microbes, right?
as long as the nasty little things die a horrible death, i'm happy.

same principle as my kits roaming around my garden n killing disgusting things.

small price to pay to eliminate vermin.

i have fig trees n grapes.
everything loves sweets.
you can't even use a dog to guard figs, because he'll eat them.
i don't wanna share.

anyway. it's nice that they seldom need a litter box this time of year.
i'm lazy.

Well, as others have told you already, PG is antimicrobial. And even if there was bacteria growing, you're burning it off when you fire the coil. So really the only place bacteria could be is the drip tip and top of tank where the drip tip fits into. As long as you're cleaning these parts regularly there's no need to worry.
