I have a big house but I don't have a pool.. unfortunately. Now I have an idea to build it on my own. I would try as hard as I can to succeed.. Has anyone tried to do something really important for you on your own? Was it hard?

I have a pool but I haven't swam in it for a year. I prefer swimming in the lake.
Sometimes I think I don't have enough knowledges but I consult people who has experience in it and they help me with advice.
Yep, got one. Not big, not impressive… one of these things that stand on the ground, not the buried-in type. 5x3 meters or so.
I added solar heating myself in a separate pumped circuit outside the filter circuit, upgraded the filter to a sand filter, and a few other improvements. Has a built in skimmer.
Life is ok with that thing, but it has downsides too.
