Do you use different coils with different juices?

Hello everyone,

I've been meaning to ask this for a while. Do you guys swap out your coils when you use a different e-juice?
I now have about 20 different flavors and also have a lot of Subtank coils, five 1.2 coils and 10 - 0.5 ohm coils. I've also figured out how to rewick them, thanks to the video by Vapor trail. I'll post the link if you aren't familiar with how to do it. Pretty easy. I don't see myself buying any coils anytime soon now that I know how to rewick them.

Back to my question. I was thinking about setting each coil on a tray and taping flavors for each spot, this one for Hurricane Mango Milkshake (one of my favorites), etc, etc. That way, when I want to vape that flavor, I'm not getting a mixed taste.

Does anyone do this or is it overkill? Let me know.

Oh, almost forgot the link to the video, skip to about 2:20. It takes trial and error (no error so far), but the hardest part is figuring out how much Organic cotton to use when you put the wick back in. I've done it on 3 coils so far, the 1st I put too much and the last two, too little, so this is the trial and error part.

Good luck,

I vape use the same coil when I change flavors. The only exception being flavors that are hard to get rid of, strong cinnamon is the only coil i swap out. For me, keeping a separate coil per flavor is overkill as the old flavor is purged after 3-5 draws. I do disassemble and clean my tanks with each flavor change.

I saw that video earlier today. I'll probably end up rewicking and rebuilding the coils as its not too difficult. Getting the right amount of cotton is key. Rip tipper has a video as well and I believe he said a 7mm wide strip for thinner juice and 5mm for thicker juice.

Good luck,

I used to do that when I first started vaping with Halo Triton tanks - I had stickys in the box they went in so I knew which flavor went in which tank (or matched which coil). It makes sense!

Now the only tank I occasionally use is the Nautilus, and I just wash out the coils between juices. But I don't use very strong juice.
