So I ordered four lg hg2 batteries from a company online. They look good, clean and not cheap looking at all, but the typing although good looking straight and not off looking. The typing seems to be smaller then all the other batteries from my local b&m.
One one the right from the online supplier in all photos. Also all four look identical from the online retailer

There are a lot of fake HG2's out there.

Where did you buy those?

Vaph.inc on eBay. Found them on the vaporjoes under the deals section. They had very good feedback and only sells batteries. They did respond back and said sometimes they do change the size of the writing. I usually get them from my local b&m but couldn't beat the price and seemed legit. I'm going to test them out today to see the spec. If they are clones they are a very very good clone just because the typing is very clear and neat and everything else look identical.

I'm thinking when they started making them again after they stopped a few month ago. They might of changed the text size. At least I hoping. Lol

The newest ones have a warning on them not to be used for ecigs.
That's interesting. Got a pic? Wouldn't be the first "Hey, You Shouldn't Do This" sign I've ignored in my life, and I just so happen to need a couple sets of new batteries. And I happen to be looking at getting some of these, no less.

Saw a pic of one over on ECR a week or less ago.

Except for a pair of batteries that I won, all of may batteries are HG2. Illum Supply is a great place to buy them. Genuine and very good prices. And for each pair you buy you get a free batt box.

I can't say one way or another, but look closely at the white insulator ring. That was often a dead giveaway.

This may help too:

Unfortunately, due to this, a fair few reputable vendors over here in the UK are no longer stocking certain LG batteries due to this warning.

As they sell the batteries for vaping, they are no longer stocking them due to their insurance. It is only the higher capacity LG batteries that will have the warning though, the HB series will still continue to be sold over here as they are not having the warning printed on them.

I gather I will still be able to get the HE and HG series batteries from another store I use though, as they do not sell them specifically for vaping.

Yes I believe it is only the over 2500 mah batteries that have the warning.

I am pretty sure you are right there, as I don't think (Don't quote me though) that the HD4 has the warning. I think it is the 2500MAH+, 20A+ cells.

It is a shame as for some reason I prefer the HE4's to 25R's in my Mech mods. It could be placebo, but I just find them better. I think I will still be able to get them from batteries plus, just not the vape specific battery stores.

I don't know how it will effect people in the USA, and if it will be a similar situation, or if vape stores will still continue to carry them even with the warning, I just know over here due to insurance reasons a few places are no longer stocking them.

So I just got some hg2's. Now my question is are they safe for vaping since they are putting this warning on them? I have always used 25 r before. But I wanted to try the lg.

I have a set of the new ones like that I just picked them up earlier this week. I've been using them all week with no issues so far. Knock on wood. Lol

Samsung 30q is best. Treat his rating as max amps

Is this a legal thing trying to cover their buts for when people misuse them in mods and blow their face off?
