Does SS in TC mode work well on Koopor plus 200w?

I am either going to buy a Koopor plus 200w or Reuleaux rx200 but whichever one works better is TC mode with SS is the one for me, there is so little info out there about the rx200 but i was hoping i could get some feedback about how the Koopor plus 200w works in TC mode with SS.

I get mine Monday I will let you know.. Since the Koopor is the same chipset as the Xcube II without the Bluetooth and LED you can expect the same results I will test it Monday

IF it were me, I would probably go for the RX200, just because I think the shape is pretty cool and it just looks really sick! In fairness, I can't speak to performance of the chipset in it, I've never played with one.

To answer your question yes the Koopor plus works great for SS i am using SS 304 being able to adjust the TCR is also nice to fine tune the differences in Stainless steel wire. I have been using it for a week now no complaints

MrScaryZ i have tried 316L and have no luck in Temp control. I have tried single, double, spaced, twisted. Always sets my cotton on fire even if i adjust the TCR as low as it'll go. If i do that i get nothing up to about 280F then it just shoots a flame into my throat, it's a hell of a throat hit i tell you. I like the koopor plus but if SS temp control doesn't work it defeats the purpose and i'll keep using my istick 100

I sait works and it does I do not use 316 SS as the TCR is to linear and does not always properly work even on a DNA 200 try using 304 SS there is good reason that premade coils for subtanks use it.. The Koopor plus is set up for 304 Stainless not 316 that is your problem if you want to try to get 316 working look up the TCR value for 316 and input it into the Koopor

Thats really good info THANK YOU!

ok i fiddled with it some more this morning even though i ordered the 304 hopefully that will work out of the box.
With the 316L i made a twisted single coil at .46 resistance on a mutation x v4. I then went in and adjusted the TCR to the lowest it would go which was 0.00050 and adjusted the initial ohms down to as low as it would go which was .416. Now temp mode works nicely, I am not sure how accurate it is but at 350F i get nice temp vapor and temp control kicks in after about 3 second pull. Not sure i trust it not to shoot fire in my mouth again but i will keep at this all day and see how it goes.

Good luck! I hope the build works out for you!

Doing a twisted build will give you all kinds of unexpected results and changes your TCR look at steam-engine,org on the wire builder and you will understand

after more research and more coils i found the following.
316 and 304 work equally well, the main problem on the koopor plus is that often it will read too high of a resistance which increases the temp far beyond what it should be and leads to cotton burn/flames in my mouth.
If you have another mod or one of those ohm readers make sure you know what the resistance is at room temperature, if it reads correctly on your koopor your should be ok just using the 92 and 105 tcr for 316 and 304. If it reads high you have to go in and adjust the resistance down as low as you can get it, if it is more the .1 more then it should be used in wattage mode as you will get flames otherwise.
The second most important thing besides the resistance is, spaced coils only! I was not aware but if there is any contact on the coils the readings will be off and temp control will not work properly which again leads to flames in your mouth.
As you can see i have had many flames in my mouth and we shouldnt have to go through all this so IMHO temp control for SS on the koopor is not working. Hopefully a software update will fix these issues in the future but for now its wattage mode only for me as that's just too much throat hit :)
