Does VG and flavor concentrate spoil over time?

I have a small collection of flavors, mostly TFA. I mix it with 100% VG and 50/50 nicotine (heartland vapes). My final mixes come out to around 80%vg/20%pg. Anyway lately I have noticed that whatever flavors I make, whether single or complex, I get a bad aftertaste. This aftertaste is bitter and sour, reminding me of sour cream or plain unflavored yogurt. Very off-putting. Once again, it happens no matter what the flavor or combo thereof. Anyway, I keep my flavors and VG in a dark cupboard. The oldest are a little over 7 months old. Are they spoiled? Do they need to be refrigerated?

I don't refrigerate my flavors, but I have had some go pretty funky!

I've also had PG turn a little weird, but not yet VG (although it probably can). Try tasting a little VG on your tongue. And try making up the nicotine in your strength and vape that plain. If it's not any of those, then it may just be one of your flavorings - only way to be sure is to mix each one up and test (you can just use plain VG).

I keep my flavors in a mini fridge, but leave the pg/vg at room temp. Have not had a funky flavor since I started doing that.

Thanks for the advice. Sounds like it's time to isolate ingredients and find the culprit. Divide and conquer... And maybe a mini fridge might be in the works, depending on how the tax man treats me. No space in the main fridge, as I have a family of five. It's already a compromise to keep my nic in there...

Update... So I rewicked my Silverplay V2... Put a little bit of my Heartland Vapes 100% VG in it... And guess what? ITS MY F_CKING VG that is the problem!!! After the exhale, I'm getting that cottage cheese like aftertaste with along with a rancid, dry, weird mouthfeel. I get it by the gallon and keep it in the freezer. I only keep a 2 or 3 week supply thawed out at any given time. So I don't know how it could have "gone bad". Maybe just a bad batch? But wow, I thought that my mixes were off all this time. I'm gonna have to try some VG from a different source, and see what happens. I just wish that I could try before I buy. And not like I can get any help from my local b&m stores. One of them actually told me that mixing juice should be " left to the professionals"... And they sell their house juice for $18 per 30ml. I diy so that I don't have to take out a home equity in order to vape. I build my coils low, big, and hot. I go through about 20ml a day.

Wow, That sucks, but at least it was one of the cheaper things! (not your N!)
I used to get my vg from fancier places, the latest liter I just got from amazon for like 13bucks with 2nd day shipping, it's perfectly good, no flavor or anything.

I got the one "from element six"

Lol though I'm curious to try the stuff made from Coconuts above, I must admit!
