Dot v3 question

I use ss coils and the v2 has this annoying habit of stopping and asking you everytime the reistance changes whether or not its an old or new coil. Pick it up and take a cpl puffs, stop new coil? Put it down for a few minutes, go to take a puff, stop, new coil?

Does anyone know if the v3 fixed this?

I used dot coils for a day cruise...never got asked...if this helps any

Sorta, i know Its the ss changing resistance that is doing it, i assume the dot coils r ni80, or nicr, or whatever, but thanx
