Hi everyone, my name is Mike Forber (MF_Vape) and I have been reviewing vape hardware for the past 3 months or so.

This is my review of the Double Barrel V2.1 by Squid Industries. The founder used to be a US Navy veteran and designed the mod influenced by a trusty old shot gun. It's a variable wattage only device, none of that temperature control shenanigans this time guys. This sure looks the bees knees but is all that it seems.....

Double Barrel V2.1 Features:
New Top OLED Display
Variable Wattage: 5-150W
Multi-Function Fire Switch that
Adjusts Wattage, Locks Wattage, Power Switch, Flips Screen.
Reverse Battery Polarity Protection
Overheat Protection
Short Circuit Protection
Wattage Display
Battery Life Indicator
2x High Amp 18650 Battery Slots

I hope you enjoy the review and appreciate you watching. All of my products I review have been purchased by myself and I will always give an honest, impartial review. Vaping is my hobby and I also like reviewing the products I buy.

If you'd like to receive notifications of new content please like and hit the subcribe button. I really appreciate your support.

All opinions are my own and would always suggest watching a number of different videos before making a decision to buy a product.

I would also advise that you have a good understanding of Ohm's Law and battery safety before you start building your own coils and using battery mods (especially mechanical mods). There are various sources on the internet but I recommend searching for posts from 'Mooch' or 'Battery Mooch' as he tests the amp limits and safety of all the latest vaping batteries (18650, 26650, 20700 and 21700)

He is a VET and recovering addict from what I hear. I like the mod and love the story behind it because other than being a VET I can really relate. The only problem is for me, I like my mods to go to minimum 200 Watts.

The reason is, granted I'll probably rarely go to 150, I do like the option, and I feel like it's not as hard on batteries and the mod itself if I'm running 150 Watts on a 200 watt mod as apposed to running there max on a mod for extended periods of time.

I love the look, I haven't had the chance or please of using this, but have heard nothing but good things.

Hi Zombie, thanks for the comment, and full respect to you and all forces veterans. I was sceptical about the max wattage too but I rarely go above 100w myself, and this thing does hit hard and the battery life is pretty good, I get a good day out of it. But, I have not tested at regular use at 150watts, and I hear what you mean, in having some headroom to play with. I tend to use my Smok GX350 when delving into the big wattages as with four cells, the battery life is much better.
