So, I decided to try a double coil - just 2 strands of 26g kanthal wrapped at the same time. 5 wraps (looked like 10). Came out at around 0.46ohms. I put it in my Kanger subtank mini using the updated RBA, The juice sucked! It's the same juice I've been vaping from the same bottle. I threw together a quick 0.7 6 wrap single coil and everything is hunky dory. Same wire, cotton and juice.

What happened???

I've always found parallel coils to enhance flavor in general. As long as it was heating evenly it should have been good. Of course it's possible that particular juice didn't care for the extra heat. There are some flavors - mint chocolate say - that I wouldn't choose to use with a parallel. It's also possible the rba wasn't keeping up with the extra juice demand. Past that, got me.

That's what I thought. I was expecting this great hit, and then I was like WTF??? No chocolates or cocoas - it's a raspberry custard blend I made. It's the newer subtank RBA with the large juice holes, so flow wasn't a problem. No burnt cotton when I took it apart.
