Dragon Ball Super, the highly anticipated new anime series set to premiere in Japan this July, will be getting a companion manga adaptation.
According to the latest issue of V-Jump (via Shonen Gamez), Akira Toriyama and Dragon Ball Heroes: Victory Mission author Toyotaro will be spearheading this anime-to-manga adaptation. The series will be released through V-Jump.
Dragon Ball Super is the first new Dragon Ball television series for the popular anime franchise in a whopping 18 years. As such, it isn't surprising to see Super branch its way beyond TV and getting a manga adaptation, as well.
