Congrats!! šŸ¤˜

I lost like 22lbs over the last year or so..and as a smallish 5'3" guy, that's significant....
I can wear my clothes from the 80s and 90s again...teehee...

Like this paisley shirt from like 20yrs ago...feels good. :D

I got my bypass surgery in Mexico Jan 7, started at 330lbs...down to 240...dropped from a 52" waist to 40"

This is the group I went thru...they took care of EVERYTHING...other than my flight to/from San Diego, they had drivers to pick us up at the airport, take us across the border, check us into a VERY POSH motel, pick us up, drive us to surgery...we were NEVER without an escort

Oh...I paid $5000~ vs the $20K~ it would have cost here in the states...PLUS my damn insurance wouldn't cover it!

I feel like a million freeking bucks...still have to work on my cardio and all that...but should have done this YEARS ago!

I'm down from about 330 to now about 295. Crediting, having been working hard the past few months and a shift in diet. I find my body craving lots of protein.

That doesn't exactly mean a lot of meat and some Neanderthal diet. I'm balancing fruits and veggies in with it. Moderating carbs somewhat yet not a complete withdrawal, still getting good fiber.

Watching out a good bit for purines. Eat too much fish, too much of any "rich" foods, I have bad gout flare-ups. Gout leads to inflammation, leads to no more mobility. Need mobility to keep dropping weight, getting healthy.

I'm 6 foot tall and have to stay on testosterone for my life. My body does not produce its own T, nor E. I was born masculine and like being that naturally. My pituitary did not function, ever so I missed out olfactory nerves being grown, no sense of smell. Also, I'm wired up neurologically different from the "normal" dryer setting.

Would like to leave a 50 waist to get back to maybe a 36, even 38. I know that is likely "pushing it". Everybody can dream, no? Have to watch out too with arthritis, my bones thin anyway. I look back at all the times elders told me, "boy, it'll catch up to ya." Wish I had listened and not worked or played so hard and fast. Of course, I think we all believe in being invincible.

Coming around and "smelling the coffee", now. Been a trip, they say, it's all "downhill" from here in. Hope so, be an easier trip, maybe.
