It's a Wotofo Freak Show 22mm.
Is the airflow all the way open?

Do you have dual or single coils?

What wattage are you vaping at?

an RDA shouldn't give off dry hits unless there is too much power, too little airflow, an incorrect/insufficient build, or a mixture of the three.

Are you sure there are no hotspots in the coil(s)?

Are the coil(s) glowing evenly from the center outward?

I am using a single coil and the airflow is wide open.I am going to try rewicking it.The coil heated up just fine when I set it up.I am using a mech mod with a single 18650 battery.

I rewicked it with a different type of cotton and cut the cotton a little shorter and it is doing fine now!

Dry hit with an RDA? 2 things come to mind for me and 1st being you aren't dripping enough and second is you are firing with way Too Much Power Tim~!

I put a fresh battery with a full charge in the mod and it is doing fine now.I was getting a dry hit on the 2nd pull after i had dripped on the cotton.

I find dripping on the cotton while tilting the mod so the juice flows down into the coil works well and prevents a lot of spitting that would be caused from dripping directly on the coil.. Freakshow has very small airflow holes, even wide open it's a pretty tight draw. Great first RDA if you are just graduating from premade M2L coils.

less cotton. Remove cotton a little at a time and when it starts leaking go back one step. works for me.

Good reading you've seemed to correct the problem. :)Please allow me a minor suggestion. You may want to keep a .50 clearance in the top part of the coil. Here's a quick text picture looking through the coil from an end.

(--)

This top clearance allows for better air and juice flow through a coil. It does at least for myself. Having learned this from doing it enough and seeing it help, I think it worth passing along. You can take it and use it or not, no permission needed either way. It's only something I think warrants considering, passing on. :)
