Here's my first dual clapton on my crius. 26 gauge nichrome and 38 gauge kanthal. 5 wraps each came out to .15 Ohm according to me joytech VtC. Maybe because of power or wicking but I had more flavor with a single clapton. It definitely chucks clouds.

2.5mm I think it would do better with more power. I only have 60W mod and it takes a few hits to taste really good.

I don't have the mini vtc so I can't update. It's ok because my koopor plus just came in the mail. Now I get a burnt taste with anything over 50 watts:eek:. Switched to a twisted 28G and no burnt taste, even up to 200W. I'll try and make another dual clapton another day.

I'm thinking of trying some claptons in my Crius.

Nothing wrong with doing this is there?

Dual Claptons in my Crius and the flavor and vapor production is great. I recently traded for it and the previous owner had built the Claptons in it so I just wicked them and started vaping on it. I have it on my HCigar VT133 and running them at 45 watts.

It is almost time to change the coils in my Crius. I'm gonna throw a set of claptons in it and see how she does.

I have the same Claptons in another tank and have been vaping that tank at 75 watts.

Do you think the Crius can handle that?

I haven't pushed it that far. I don't enjoy a really hot vape so 45 watts is about where I like to vape at.

Just jacked mine up to 75 watts and it did fine. Hotter than I like but it seemed to keep up okay.
When I go higher than 60 watts I take a shorter pull but find flavor and cloud production is outstanding.

I have one tank I have vaped on at 125 watts. I thought I was crazy but it is a great vape! Outstanding flavor and the clouds last for days. In that tank I have fused claptons, .12 ohms, regular vape at 85-90 watts. It is all that vaping should be. ;)

But... I want to get some use out of my Crius and have it with a different flavor juice so I can have multiple tanks available depending on my mood.

I am not satisfied with the stock coils that come with the Crius. I get good flavor but the wick burns too fast.

When my wire gets here this week I am gonna start building my first claptons. Nice work!
