OK, I've been building single micro coils on an Igo L for awhile now. I would like to dual coil dripper and have narrowed it down to a few choices ( usual suspects, Tobh, ect. ect. ). I'm not interested in doing sub-ohm builds right now. I drilled out the air hole on my Igo to 1/6" and have been using 32ga Kanthal with cotton wicking. It performs pretty well and I've been happy with it. I'm not sure whether I should go with 28ga (more wraps) or 30ga. I usually run around 9 watts ( mech with a kick) and would start out with simple dual micro coil builds on a 5/64" drill bit. I guess I could go with a bigger inside diameter and do less wraps but without any real experience I guess I'm not sure. I know I could try a dual coil on the Igo l to experiment with, but I really don't want to drill another hole in it. If I figured it out correctly, 28ga duals would be something in the area of 16 wraps per coil. Is that going to be a problem size wise in a 22mm size atty? I guess they would be horizontal coils, unless vertical were more practical. If this is all too vague, I apologize in advance.
