Efest 2900 mah Vs Samsung 25R battery life?

Right now I have these two batteries available to me for purchase. I actually do not need more than 15 amp rating. I am only interested in battery life and construction quality. Is the Efest 2900 mah rating to be believed? I have had experience with older Efest 2800 and it has performed satisfactorily; the wrap and contacts have held up well. In comparison, I have damaged a 25R (green) using it in the same rotation; the thin wrapper ripped in a spot and I was able to dent the positive contact as well. I'm inclined to pay the extra for the Efest if the mah is for real.

I would if I could but as I said, it's between the 25R and the Efest.

If you have to have one of those then definitely go with the 25R.

Are you under contract from these two battery companies or something? Is that why you have to use one of their batteries?

If you're never going to go over 15A they're both good choices. As far as I can tell the 2900mAh is the exact same battery as the 2800mAh, I'm guessing they just wanted to distance themselves from the bad marketing they got on the 2800mAh and also lower the pulse rating so they rewrapped it again (it's what they're good at). So if you liked the 2800mAh you'll like the 2900mAh.

Still would recommend the HG2 over it but if you are locked into your lucrative sponsor deal with Efest or the 25R specifically then it's just fine.

If you were getting closer to 20A I'd recommend the 25R.

I live in Manila. I just want to go to my local BM and buy a battery. They have those 2, Sony VTC-4, and AWT brand which I have no experience with so I'm not considering it. The Sonys are too pricey and I don't need more than 20A rating. No LG available.

Sounds like the 2900 mah rating on the Efest is not to be trusted so I will just go with the Samsung.

Id suck it up and pay the extra for the vtc-4 and consider them future proof in case you upgrade later on.
Lower Mah VS Samsung 25R. My lowest build is 0.3 ohms and I only run that on a dual batt regulated box with paired 25Rs. My tube mech runs single coil builds and I have a Subox kit with the Subtank running 0.7 ohm build; the battery is for those so priority is battery life. I don't want to "upgrade" because I can't afford to burn even more ejuice!
