Let me first thank the people at Joytech for sending me the device. It will not change my opinions or observations at all.
So - I vape nic salt. I really wanted to check pout the device as it was designed with mic salt users in mind. A new caper could use it and probably a lot will be sold to new capers but does it work well for mic salts?
I opened the package to see a very nice grey device that was smaller than I expected. It is is only 14mm wide. It is not took tall - 133 mmm - and it fits in my pocket easily. So far so good.
You can set the colour on the tank - it has LEDs - by shutting off the device with five clicks and then holding the fire button for 5 seconds and scrolling through the colours. I chose blue - whatever. I don't want it for the colours, lol. I'm sure some will like it. The OG Aio also had this feature. This is a bit smaller than the first rendition.
So here is the thing. This is a very restricted draw. It is a .5 ohm coil but capes like a 1.8 ohm coil. You cannot adjust the airflow at all. This is pure MTL. So I filled the bugger up with some of my favourite mic salt to see how the flavour was. Well, it was not too shabby at all. And very easy to fill. Just pop off the drip tip and fill.
I vaped on it for a few hours and found that the battery life was better than most of my pods devices. It is 650 may but it conserves that battery well. Nice. I would think with mic salt you would get most of the day easily.
My wife came home, saw the cute little device and immediately stole it from me. She liked the base of the atomizer - it says keep calm and vape on, lol. She likes pretty colours. Maybe I'll get to use it again but likely not ...
So:
Parameters
Size: 14.0mm*113.0mm
E-liquid capacity: 1.2ohm
Battery capacity: 650mAh
Coil: BFHN 0.5ohm head
Max charging current: 1A
Color: Black, Red, Blue, Grey, Green
Joyetech eGo AIO ECO Kit comes with
1x EGO AIO ECO
2x BFHN 0.5ohm head
1x USB cable
1x Silicon ring
1x Quick Start
1x Warranty card
1x Warning card
The spare parts are orings et all for the tank and an extra coil.
So what I like about it:
Very portable
Low output so the 650 may battery lasts all day
The coil head - the BFHN .5 - suits the low output - I'm guessing it was around 8 watts
What you might or might not like:
Very restricted airflow and not adjustable
Small tank capacity - not a bother to me with mic salts
LED lights might annoy you
So this is a tough one. The original Aio had more airflow and was more robust. This is really suited to high nicotine juice be it nic salt or just 16 mg e-juice. You will only be able to MTL on this device. For me it worked fine - I love my mic salts. But even I felt a bit more airflow and few more watts would have been a bit better.
I'll leave to others to judge for themselves .
