Has anybody tried the EHPro Revel RTDA? It looks interesting. I'd like to know how it compares with the Big Dripper flavor-wise, and whether it's any better than the EHPro Pontus.

I'm curious about this too. We're probably interested for the same reasons. Big Dripper tastes great and breathes really well, but the pump is weak and iffy. I find myself pumping like mad. Annoying. Gonna work on the juice hole etc. before I give up on it though, because the vape can be so good.

This looks like a much better pump system, juice feed, and tank filling method. But I doubt there a much better vape to be had with equally well saturated wicks. And he does raise a flag about leaking out the air holes, though says he sorted it out.

You didn't say whether you had a Pontus. Do you?

Actually I prefer the filling method used by the BD. I hate fill screws: they're tiny, they require a tool, and you can't do it while driving.
As for the Revel's pumping system, it's exactly the same as the BD's :) But maybe it holds juice better in the long run. The thing that interests me in the Revel is the glass tank - as in real glass that isn't PMMA, like the chinese BDv2 - and the ability to fill it up by carefully unscrewing the whole thing, possibly.

I've never owned a Pontus, but I've had one on loan for a day. It wasn't too bad flavor-wise really (decent, but clearly a notch under the BD though), but the vape was too cold for my taste.

This looks a lot better than the BD, I have 3 BD's, one is real the other 2 are clones. I am not using these now, due to the Atlantis. Who has some deals on these?

In regards to the Big Dripper pumping weak, you shouldnt be pumping it, just pressing it and holding it down is the best way to use it, as itll let out a steady steam of juice.
As for the Revel, I like the look of it but the Pontus was such garbage (for me) I stayed away from it

Pressing vs. pumping, I take your point. I've tried pumping it different ways, pressing slow and holding, faster and repeated, etc. If the tank is on the full side it works pretty well, worse as the level goes down. I've replaced pump o-rings in case they were leaking pressure out. I've also removed the tank assembly from the base and watched the juice come out while pumping variously. It's just too little even at its best, never what you describe as a "steady stream."

Maybe I'm expecting it to work in a way it can't, like an upside down squonker. In any case, I'm not giving up on it yet.

It's obviously not exactly the same, but a different execution of the same idea. That's what caught my attention.

Now that I get your main attraction to the Revel, the glass tank, I'll try not to muck up your thread with too much talk about Big Dripper.

Well no problem: as far as I can tell, EHPro RTDAs are sub-par Big Dripper lookalikes that happen to have a better tank. Big Dripper talks are therefore relevant. And besides, who cares if threads get mucked up: discussions can go any direction as far as I'm concerned.

Re the BD's juice flow, I've never had a problem with mine: I press the pump, hold for a second or two, and a metered shot of juice comes out, more or less consistently the same regardless of the level of juice in the tank. And I use 100% VG juices with no water or alcohol, that are really quite viscous.
