Anyone else have issues with tanks wobbling on the iStick 100 watt TC Mod?
I've tried a Subtank Mini ...iSub ...Triton
No matter which tank I put on it, they wobble :(

Yes they tend to wobble by design if you don't screw the tank all the way down until the base rests on top of the mod, i have the same thing and Grimmgreen also showed the same happens with his IStick in one of his vlogs.

I contacted eleaf about this and they seem to know and said they will look into it for future batches, personally it doesn't bother me because i always make my tanks sit perfectly flush which eliminates it besides it doesn't effect performance or TC function whatsoever.

Now if your tanks wobble while being screwed all the way down, that is another story and you should get it replaced.

Some tanks will not sit flush on the TC100W. My crown was fine and sat flush but I put a Sapor on it last week and it sits about 2 to three sheets of paper off the device. I read the link below and they seem to know about it but dont care??? I plan on fixing it by putting a tank heat sink between the device and the Sapor they only cost $5 FastTech.

You can use a washer to make it sit flush. Not the most desirable fix but a fix nonetheless. Here is where I saw it being done....

A good video to watch if you own one. If you like it, you'll love it after you are done watching.

Thanks for the heads up, i knew most of these stuff before watching the video and have tested the perfectly balanced charge/discharge this device is capable of but it was nice to see how innovative the internals are designed, i admit after watching this video I love the device a little bit more.

I noticed that too, when I put on my new haze mini, especially since the o-rings are so new, it takes a bit of force to get em off/on.

Then it sounds like the Eleaf iStick 100W TC is even worse than the Joyetech eVic-VTC Mini, in this respect. That would not work for me.

So far it's only been RDAs that have given me a problem on my eVic-VTC Mini, and not even all of them. Lessee... don't recall the first one. Fat Boy clone, maybe? Returned it for that issue. Tobecco Velocity Mini RDA had the problem. Fixed it by judiciously trimming-down the head of the 510 connector pin. The LowPro RDA has the problem. Don't plan to address it as I don't expect to use that RDA. I've heard some tanks have that problem. None of mine have.

My Sapor sits flush on my eVic-VTC Mini with no problem. No excessive torque required.

<flame>
What the hell kind of lame industry is this that can't get something as simple as the trivial geometry of the 510 connector right?

any tank with an adjustable pin should sit flush if you screw it a bit so that it does not stick out, all Joyetech/Eleaf/Wismec stuff have that same issue with tanks with tall or protruding positive pin, the size is not standardized, one camp uses a bit shorter 510 and the other uses a bit longer one, adjustable pins make this fixable or a heat sink attachment and there are 100s of sizes and shapes of those and they are really cheap, until the industry is able to standardize the length/depth of that down to the mm.

For example the Griffin sits perfectly flush with the positive pin screwed all the way in, i thing the Tsunami RDA will also screw down perfectly, the Gemini on the other hand does not sit flush on any Joyetech/Wismec/Eleaf device including the RX200 and the Cuboid because it has a longer 510 a non-adjustable pin, without standardization it is what it is unfortunately.

But even with standardized stuff the 18650s some bats are a bit taller or shorter than others or wrapped thicker than others and the same problem exist with some batteries in some mods ...
