Had this iStick 50 watt mod for a few months now, and was loving it being my everyday go to device. But this week it started saying low power with not powering up unless I reset it using the USB charger.

Has anyone had similar issues with theirs? And if so do you have a remedy?

My Brother had one that would power off randomly when he used it. He said it would happen around once a day. Shortly after he told me that he dropped it on a carpet floor and it stopped working all together. He took it apart and said that it possibly happened from a wire become disconnected on the inside when it dropped. Kind of sad being that it was carpet and all. I have the i stick 30w and don't really have to many issues if any. I do like the 50W alot better, so I hope they get those issues worked out because I would like to purchase one as my main battery.

I had the same issue. I flushed out the 510 and around the switch with some spray electronic board cleaner and left it to charge overnight. It's working now, but I'm not so sure it will continue to do so. There was/is a lot of chatter on reddit about the same issue. It's crappy QC in my mind.

My second one (the wife's now) is working fine and has been for months, no issues.

I bought the istick 50w around 3 months ago & its been nothing but great.. I was skateboarding to work one day & i had the istick in my back pocket, went to ollie up the curb & heard a loud bang, looked back & the istick was on the floor with the pyrex glass from the subtank shattered.. Point being that even after that fall the istick is still working well except now it has a slight rattle on the button but i could live with that lol..

It all starts with the rattle.

Oh no I didn't wanna hear that lol.. Its time for an upgrade soon anyway but money is super tight at the moment..
Im just playing....sorta. If you got a good battery why replace it at this point? Perhaps a rainy day fund. We all need them for vaping.
